Just one more event remains on the pre-Christmas Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway schedule and what an event it will be for open wheel fans with both the KRE Race Engines Sprintcar Track Championship and the Polar Ice Qld Midget Car Series on the programme this Saturday night at Qld's Home Of Speedway!
For many fans, Sprintcars and Midgets on the one card fit together very nicely and Archerfield Promoter John Kelly pairs them together on regular occasions throughout the season. This Saturday night the two come together again when both classes return to Archerfield for make-up Rounds of their respective Championships which were lost to inclement weather last month.
While this is the final event at the venue before Christmas, fans won't have long to wait to the next one with the annual Sumer Of Speed set to open in sizzling fashion on Boxing Night with the first of the International Sprintcar events featuring five-time World Of Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz who returns to Australia to race exclusively at Archerfield for the second consecutive year.
Early racing from 4.45PM this Saturday with the main programme from 6.00PM. Adults just $25.00 with great value family passes available for $50.00 providing entry for two adults plus two children aged under 12.
