KRE Track Championship Entries Continue To Rise

In great news for Brisbane race fans and Qld Sprintcar racing in general, the entry lists for this season's KRE Race Engines Sprintcar Track Championship continue to not only be solid but are in fact rising with this Saturday night's fourth Round at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway attracting a very healthy thirty eight entries.
Regular car counts in excess of thirty have again been the norm this season with the Lucky 7's events the past three weekends also boosting numbers with the generous payouts that were on offer. And while each of those car counts included a number of interstate competitors, Jeremy Cross from NSW is the only driver heading to the Sunshine State for this weekend's races which all points to strengthening numbers within Qld. Cross has already competed in a number of races north of the Tweed River this season, his best result so far a third in Round 2 of the KRE Series at Archerfield back in October.
The nominations list for Round 4 is a good one and includes defending Champion Bryan Mann, current point leader Andrew Scheuerle, former Australian Champions James McFadden and Todd Wanless, Round 3 winner Darren Jensen plus the likes of Danny Reidy, Peter Lack and David Muir who have all posted podium finishes this season. Just making the eighteen car field for the night's main event will be something to take pride in.
The Sprintcar races are not the only ones that will be hotly contested on Saturday night with the annual and very popular Kids Pushbike Races also on the programme.
Plus there's AMCA Nationals, Compacts, Modlites and Sedan support classes too. General admission gates open at 4:00PM on Saturday afternoon with early racing from 4:45PM and main programme from 6:00PM.
