Farr Brisbane Bound And Chasing A Lucky 7's Double

He has an almost impeccable record at Qld Sprintcar events in recent years which he did little to change with another hard earned victory in the first of the three Lucky 7's races on the weekend in Maryborough, and now Robbie Farr will head to Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway this Saturday night to chase another $7000.00 pay day and a Lucky 7's double!
Farr, who lists an Australian Sprintcar Championship, Speedcar Championship and a World Series Championship on his racing CV, heads an impressive list of interstate racers that will go up against Qld's best in the second of the Lucky 7's events - presented by Performance Wholesale - to be held in Qld this month.
That list includes six-time Australian Sprintcar Champion Garry Brazier from NSW and Trevor Green from South Australia as well as Andrew Wright, Jeremy Cross and Matt Young who will also make the trip north from NSW.
The list of "locals" is also an impressive one with James McFadden, Andrew Scheuerle, Danny Reidy and last start winner at Archerfield Darren Jensen in the mix alongside reigning KRE Race Engines Track Champion Bryan Mann, Peter Lack, David "Blingy" Muir, Todd Wanless and Darrell Hodges who will make his make appearance of the season in Brisbane.
In all, thirty-five Sprintcar drivers have sent their nominations in as of Monday for this weekend's bumper programme at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway, a programme that also features the Polar Ice Qld Midget Car Series, Modlites, a special Celebrity Modlites events for past Champions of the sport plus a huge Fireworks show for the kids and Australia's first ever Double Decker Car Race!
