Revised Entry List For KRE Sprintcar Track Championship Round 3

A revised entry list for the rescheduled third Round of the KRE Race Engines Sprintcar Track Championship at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway this Saturday night has been released and while the numbers are a couple short of the original at this point, it is still a star laden field ready to do battle on the tight 1/4 mile raceway.
Point leader Todd Wanless has revised his plans to compete in Perth this weekend, electing to stay in Brisbane instead in a bid to extend his narrow lead over Andrew Scheuerle and Danny Reidy in the standings. Wanless and Scheuerle won the opening two events of the season while Reidy has placed fifth and second in a promising start to the season for the twenty-seven year old who will concentrate his racing efforts in Qld this year.
Interstate drivers Ian Madsen, Andrew Wright and Jeremy Cross from NSW and Victorian Jamie Veal have forwarded their entries for Saturday night while the driver of the #67 Supercheap Auto car Trevor Green from South Australia was due to compete in before last Saturday night's event was lost to rain is yet to be confirmed for this weekend.
Also making a welcome return to competition on Saturday night is defending Series Champion Bryan Mann who will make his first appearance of the season after sitting out the opening two Rounds.
This week's racing programme also features the Late Model 3000 event, AMCA Nationals, Modlites and support class racing. General admission gates open at 4:00pm, early racing from 4:30pm, main programme from 6:00pm.
