Blue Skies Equals Green Lights For Brisbane Races

After some mid-week rain and unseasonal cold and blistery winds on Friday, Brisbane race fans have woken to crisp blue skies this morning ahead of tonight's races at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway which will feature Round 2 of the KRE Race Engines Sprintcar Track Championship, AMCA Nationals, Wingless Sprints, Compacts and more.
The nominations list has risen to thirty-two drivers for the second of scheduled fifteen Rounds of the KRE Series at the Brisbane raceway this season and like the season opener two weeks ago, it includes a mix of regular names, newcomers to the class and interstate drivers all ready to chase a spot in the field of eighteen for the night's main event.
The AMCA Nationals and the Wingless Sprints will have their first runs of the new season at Archerfield tonight and both are fielding good numbers for what should be some more great wheel-to-wheel racing from two of the most competitive classes in the sport. Likewise for the Compacts who continue to build numbers with regular racing in Brisbane.
General admission gates open at 4:00PM for tonight's event with early racing from 4:30PM and the main programme from 6:00PM. Adult tickets are $25.00, family passes for two adults and two children 12 years and under are just $50.00, off-street parking is available at the track and racing finishes by 10:30PM.
