K R E Race Engines Track Championship - Round Two

Round Two of the KRE Race Engines Sprintcar Track Championship headlines this Saturday night's programme of races at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway, the highly successful Series drawing another stellar field of twenty-nine drivers to tackle the fast 1/4 mile raceway in Brisbane.
Round 1 Feature winner Todd Wanless will be chasing back to back wins in his bid to get his campaign off to the best start possible but will need to be at his best to see off the challenges of Darren Jensen and Danny Reidy who both posted top five finishes in the season opener two weeks ago plus the likes of former Series winner Andrew Scheuerle, Peter Lack, David Muir and Luke Oldfield who continues to impress in his transition from V8 Dirt Modifieds to the Sprintcar division.
Saturday night's event is the second of fifteen Rounds of the Series scheduled for Archerfield this season, with the first five of those to take place in the lead-up to the Summer Of Speed events which will run from December 26 through to January 12. Those events will feature the world's number one driver in American Donny Schatz for six nights and culminate in the highly-anticipated 51st running of the Australian Sprintcar Championship over three blockbuster nights of racing on January 10/11/12.
At just $50.00 for two adults and two children 12yrs and under, Family passes are available for patrons attending this event with the kids at Qld's Home Of Speedway. General admission gates will open at 4:00pm with early racing from 4:30pm and the main programme from 6:00pm.
