It's set to be a huge night of racing , family fun and entertainment this Saturday night at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway with Round 14 of the KRE Race Engines Sprintcar Track Championship, a Caravan, Boat And Dunny Race, Firework, Super Sedans and a whole lot more on the one massive programme presented by Ausdeck Patios And Roofing!
Just two Rounds remain in the Sprintcar Track Championship and again it appears the Series winner will not be determined until the final event of the season. The battle for Championship honours between Bryan Mann, David Muir and Andrew Scheuerle has raged for much of the season but given the points spread and the closeness of the competition between these three drivers, it could very well come down to the final Round on June 16 to determine this year's Champion.
The Caravan, Boat and Dunny Races are Archerfield are a favourite amongst fans of all ages and Saturday night's edition will be another one to be enjoyed by families heading out to the event, as will the huge Fireworks show the Speedway's management team have planned as part of the total entertainment package this week.
Following on from the success of their recent Australian Title event at the venue, the Super Sedans return for the fifth and final Round of their 2011/12 Track Championship. Five of the very best Super Sedan drivers in the country compete regularly in events at the Archerfield raceway and Matt Pascoe currently holds down a narrow eighteen point lead over Darren Kane in the chase for Series honours with Ian Brims, Wayne Randall and Wayne Brims all in a tight battle for third place in points.
AMCA Nationals, ASCF Junior Sedans and Modlites complete the racing side of the programme plus there will be Junior Quarter Midget demonstration runs from the next generation of Speedway stars during the course of the evening.
Online ticketing is available for this event through the venue's website at brisbanespeedway.com.au , with Family passes just $65 which includes general admission for two adults and two children aged 5-12 years. Gates open from 4:00PM, early racing from 4:45PM, main programme from 6:00PM following the National Anthem.
