Archerfield Sprintcar And Midget Show Rained Out
Author : Archerfield Speedway
With a low over South East Queensland producing continual rain overnight and into this morning, tonight's programme of open wheel racing at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway featuring Sprintcars, Midgets, Wingless Sprints and support class racing is unfortunately now postponed to Saturday June 16.
The June date allows the tightly contested KRE Race Engines Sprintcar Track Championship to run its full schedule of fifteen Rounds, providing drivers with every opportunity possible to score points in the season-long Championship.
With tonight's event postponed, Round 13 of the Track Championship will now be held on May 12, Round 14 on May 26 and the fifteenth and final Round on June 16.
The next event at the Speedway is the Supercheap Auto Australian Super Sedan Championship to be held over two nights of racing next Saturday and Sunday night May 5/6. With close to fifty nominations for the Championship from drivers right across the country, practice will be available on Thursday from 5:00PM through to approximately 8:00PM.
