Future Sedan Stars On Show

They may only be young but they know how to put on a show regardless and this Saturday night the future Sedan stars of our sport will be back in action at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway competing in Round 8 of the P&M Motor Body Repairs ASCF Junior Sedans Track Championship.
Tim Smith outpaced Brody Fraser-McGee and Jayden Peacock for the win when the Junior Sedans last raced at Archerfield, taking the lead as the white flag flew in the twelve lap Feature after starting on the fourth row and greeting the chequers close on a second in front of Fraser-McGee who had led for most of the event.
However with only a handful of races left in the Track Championship this season, it is Jack Kay and Maddi McGee who are battling for the chance to be crowned the overall winner come the final race for the Junior Sedans on May 26. Just twenty points separate the two who have opened up a gap on the rest of the contenders through the first seven Rounds.
The Junior Sedan drivers also have an opportunity to show their ability in front of their peers and heroes when they are programmed alongside the big boys during Night One of the Australian Super Sedan Championship on Saturday May 5, potentially a chance for them to showcase their skills to prospective car owners willing to offer them some seat time once they graduate from the Junior ranks.
In addition to the ASCF Junior Sedan Track Championship, this Saturday night's event at Qld's Home Of Speedway includes the Polar Ice Qld Midget Car Series, Formula 500's, AMCA Nationals, Sigmas and Open Sedans. Early racing from 5:00pm, main programme from 6:00pm.

Parking is available at the track for $3.00. Racing finishes by 10.30pm.
