Reidy Back For Another Crack

After travelling the country chasing the World Series Sprintcars Championship (WSS), the Australian Sprintcar Championship and other major events, Danny Reidy returns to his adopted home State of Queensland for another crack at victory in Round 11 of the KRE Race Engines Sprintcar Track Championship at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway this Saturday night.
Reidy, tenth in the World Series standings following the conclusion of the Championship last weekend in Perth, will line up against twenty-three other drivers in tomorrow night's Twin Twenty Features in Brisbane including Series leader Bryan Mann and David Muir who is chasing a third consecutive KRE Series victory and his fourth of the season at Archerfield.
A winner at Archerfield in May of 2010 and a driver who has stood on the podium at the venue numerous times in the past, Reidy placed fourth in Round 4 of the KRE Series in November before embarking on his racing tour of the country as a WSS contracted driver. Reidy's speed and experience will be a welcome addition to the field this weekend and he has also indicated he will contest a number of additional events in Brisbane between now and the end of the season.
Early racing starts at approximately 4:30pm on Saturday afternoon with the main programme scheduled for 6:00pm following the National Anthem. Programmed events include Sprintcars, Formula 500's, Compact Speedcars, Limited Sprints, Stockcars, Sigmas and Open Sedans with racing completed by 10:30pm.
