Meyers For One Night Only In Brisbane
Author : Archerfield Speedway
Brisbane race fans will now have just the one opportunity to see two-time World Of Outlaws Champion Jason Meyers in action this week with news this morning Meyers and the Steve Caunt Racing/Fire Service Plus team will only compete in the $10,000 to win Capalaba Wreckers Sprintcar Cup on Wednesday night January 4 at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway. Meyers and the team had previously hoped to stay in Brisbane for a few extra days to also compete in night one of the World Series Australian Sprintcar Open event on Friday night but with interstate commitments for Saturday and the logistics associated with that, they have unfortunately had to advise both the Archerfield Speedway promotional team and the Hi-Tec Oils World Series Sprintcars Championship organisers of the change. Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway thanks Jason, Steve and the team for the early notification and look forward to having him compete in the Sprintcar Cup on Wednesday night against an outstanding field of drivers that includes Americans Donny Schatz, Shane Stewart and Rico Abreu plus a number of the very best Australian drivers in McFadden, Brazier, Farr, Murcott and Dumesny and Qld stars Scheuerle, Muir, Gessner and Wanless.
